This Wall

Words and Music by Uso Oso

So, the deja vue I'm feeling is more than something in my head. It's a pain and it's straight shooting right down to my feet. But, I will not go down.

No, this wall won't keep me down.

I go, yeah I won't be discouraged by a pain that tries to slow me down.
It gives me strength, to know that I can flourish, with some positively reinforcing lines.

No, this wall won't keep me down.

What is your song idea?
i broke my left pinky toe. twice. on the same corner of the same wall in the same place in my bedroom. the first time i broke the shit out of it; half my foot turned black and blue, had to wear a velcro orthopaedic shoe and use a cane for weeks to recover. just as it was healing i jammed it and broke it AGAIN but this time i refused to let it slow me down, and two days later i was at the gym, working out with my trainer, and have stayed active ever since.

but i'm bummed out that i keep breaking it. and i feel like i'm living in this tiny apartment and my little pinky toe is vulnerable! i want to take good care of it and have a song to sing along to it while i'm working out, or while i'm walking down the street, something up-tempo that will tell it that i believe in it, that it can heal really super strong this time, so even if i stub it again it won't break again.

y'all made me a SUPER AWESOME song about me being a freelance writer so i hope it's not greedy to ask for another song. my friend megan said it was ok to ask for another. :) a song to sing along to that gives my toe some positive energy reinforcement while it heals this time would be so awesome! and it would make me laugh while it hurts. because it takes weeks and weeks to heal! thanks thanks thanks thanks!

describe your song in one word
perky!
