the harrowing adventures of jessica and gavin her three-legged cat (part 2)

there once was a girl from virginia
with a three legged cat from gavinia
they were traveling through space with an alien race
when we left it to be continued

"oh aren't meteors beautiful"
"oh no they're breaching the hull"
said one alien to his alien friend
just before they both were to explode

but gavin escaped in the pod
and jessica with him because
in a three legged dash they were quick as a flash
a flash of 6 tootsies and paws

so now they are reeling through space
with life support fading away
and just down below a giant black hole
this might be the end i'm afraid

ah! ah! ah!

well it turns out Einstein was wrong
and time works like superman 1
and the girl and her cat were traveling back
before part one of this song

before part one of this song

What is your song idea?
There once was a girl from Virginia, she had a three legged black cat named Gavin. One day the pair were walking down the road when out of no where an alien ship lands. You guys should go from there and tell a fantastic tale of adventure. I am sick and stuck in the house and my cat can't be an outside cat anymore after he lost his leg. We could both use adventure!

the harrowing adventures of jessica and gavin her three-legged cat (part 1)

there once was a girl from virginia
who was boss as the bhagavad gita
she and gavin her black amputee cat
were walking along down the street ya!

when along comes a spaceship from pluto
and it landed right out of the blue so
the girl and her cat had no chance in fact
they were dead meat you know like prosciutto

the girl was caught in a room with no corners
and the creatures were coming right towards her
but somehow the aliens spoke feline mammalian
and Gavin was translating for her

meow
meow
purrr
meow

the aliens smiled and nodded
when Gavin told them what they wanted
but the girl she got worried when they strapped her to the Gurney
but the surgery had already started

she woke up and looked at her feet
then counted them: one two three
i guess gavin had said to giver her a leg
because she had one fewer than he

The Internet Never Forgets

the internet never forgets
the internet never forgets
the internet never forgets
the internet never forgets

mind the photo that you snap dear
mind the emails that you send
mind the files you amass dear
and the profiles you befriend

for the internet never forgets
oh the internet never forgets
no the internet never forgets what you regret
no the internet never forgets

state actors mind your cables
and mind the documents you shred
for secrecy is unstable
until the only secrets left are left unsaid

for the internet never forgets
oh the internet never forgets
oh the internet never forgets what you regret
no the internet never forgets

you're never gong to make it

words by Terrance G., music by t.w. tendrils

i'm never going to make it to where i want to be
(where do I wanna be?)
i'm never going to make it to where i want to be
(where do I wanna be?)
i'm never going to make it to where i want to be
(where do I wanna be?)
i'm never going to make it to where i want to be
(where do I wanna be?)

You know it keeps you up
Lying in the back of your brain
And when you wake up in the morning
Walk around with a smile that you feign

you're never going to make it to where you want to be
(where do I wanna be?)
you're never going to make it to where you want to be
(where do I wanna be?)
and you'll never know how good I can be
(where do I want to be?)
and you'll never know how good I can be
(where do I want to be?)

alien in origin

we the love crossed stars
like collisions in the dark
and now human can know love like ours

for our love is alien in origin
our love is alien in origin

i've set my phaser to stun
come closer come closer my little sun
you're like napalm in my hands
our love our love is alien

our love is alien in origin
our love is alien in origin

our love is alien in origin
our love is alien in origin

(and i love you despite your clown shoes)
our love is alien in origin
our love is alien in origin

What is your song idea?
Alien love (between Alpha Theta VI and Alpha Centauri V), lasting throughout the universe. I suggest you include something about clown shoes in one of the verses (e.g. "Despite your clown shoes, I will love you no matter your shoe size.")

Swords for hire

We had a tough time accepting our fate
When the federation expelled us from Earth
Set us adrift in the vacuum of space

Now we have a purpose, reason to practice our craft
If you need information, if you need a man dead,
If you need it done with no questions asked

We will take your money; we will sharpen our swords
Without a whisper, without a trace
We will be gone before his head hits the floor

In twenty-seven galaxies we've eliminated kings and queens
We stole the colonization plans from the galactic general's hands
The tyrant prince in Andromeda is totally oblivious
We infiltrated his court last month, now his right hand man is one of us

Our obsidian ship evades the light, often mistaken for a satellite
We can infiltrate and spread a lie, sabotage a hydrogen drive
Kill a man right where he stands, and make it look like an accident
If you have need of the shadow arts, just send us a name and a chart of stars

We will take your money; we will sharpen our swords
Without a whisper, without a trace
We will be gone before his head hits the floor

What is your song idea?
How about a song about intergalactic ninjas?

Someday Soon

Someday soon we'll go climbing in hills of evergreen
someday soon we'll go skating upon the frozen sea
sometimes we have to ride things out that no one could expect
and it's nobody's fault it just takes time to reconnect

someday soon we'll go soon we'll go dancing and you'll lift me in the air
someday soon we'll go bowling we'll have happiness to spare
i love you and i'll wait for you i promise you we won't part
the ligament you tore in two is not connected to my heart

What is your song idea?
well, my boyfriend tore his ACL so we can't go rock climbing, bowling, dancing, ice skating or motorcycle riding but i want him to know i like him anyways, and we'll get to do those things eventually! kind of sappy right?

the squirrels ate beethoven

you must think i'm joking
about the squirrels who ate beethoven
with their claws like forks
teeth like knives
you must think i've lost my mind
oh no sir, they just dove in
me and evelyn know that the squirrels ate beethoven

the squirrels didn't know he was a composer
they just need a way to sharpen their molars
you should see what they did to poor chopin
i'm telling you they ate beethoven

minimalists it funny
neoclassicists are appalled
the squirrels find him yummy
and so they ate him all
oh yes sir, we know they did
me and evelyn know that the squirrels ate beethoven

(talking)

poor beethoven at the pianer
never imagined he'd be eaten for dinner
you should see what they did to poor ravel
now he's just a pile of gravel

john adams thinks i'm crazy
tandun does too
but my daughter she believes me
because i speak the truth
oh yes sir, i know they did
me and evelyn know that the squirrels ate beethoven
me and evelyn know that the squirrels ate beethoven

The Request:
"Ain't no bones in the city, so the squirrels ate Beethoven."

For 15 years, a plaster bust of Beethoven resided in my parents' backyard. Having begun to corrode naturally some years back, this year Beethoven finally disappeared. Perplexed, my father developed a theory: "In nature, the animals who die become bones, benefitting the natural cycles of the forest. Squirrels that live in the forest, see, can sharpen their teeth and benefit from those bones of fallen animals. Since there are no bones to speak of in a city, (for when an animal dies, its bones are either buried in the little pet cemetery, or the waste is swept up by the city, don't you see,) the city squirrels living in our trees must find another means of acquiring those nutrients. They need to sharpen their little teeth, supplement the pitiable offerings of our neighborhood, and so on and so forth. So I suspect the squirrels have been eating Beethoven all these years."

I immediately began to hum a country ballad in this theme--
"Ain't no bones in the city, /so the squirrels ate Beethoven--/Little hands just like forks, / said a blessing, & dove in.
"Started turnin' real smart, / and took to the pianer, / talked of ontological merits / chatted all through their danner...

and so on and so forth.

Do you think you could finish the song? Please take creative license!
