Came across this medieval dream vision from Rupert of Deutz: The guy is praying in front of an altar and wants to kiss the Jesus hanging above it. He moves towards the altar and it opens up to let him enter. Inside, he embraces Jesus and begins to kiss him. Then, he says: "I felt how deeply he appreciated this sign of love when in the midst of the kiss he opened his mouth so that I could kiss him more deeply." Sadly, that's when he woke up, but the experience encouraged him to enter the ministry. He needs a sexy love song for Jesus.
