honeymoon, the blushing bride
crossed the threshold, what did she find?
her wedding bed a barren frame
and the wind it was calling her name: dorothy dorothy dorothy
lover lover, where have you taken me
across the river in a strange country
lover lover, will we ever return
if you wish dear but hear me out first
dorothy dorothy
be with me eternally
sleep with me under the floor
dorothy dorothy
hush now succumb to me
and i'll be eternally yours
lover lover, where is my dress
you took it off dear, you've no need of it
lover lover, where is your flesh
i gave it up, now i'm merely this breath whispering
dorothy dorothy
be with me eternally
sleep with me under the floor
dorothy dorothy
choose now or run from me
for i'll answer one question more
lover lover, how will i change
you'll remember nothing, only your name
dorothy dorothy
be with me eternally
sleep with me under the floor
dorothy dorothy
hush now succumb to me
and i'll be eternally yours
dorothy dorothy
someone was calling me
oh but my memory is so poor
dorothy dorothy
that once was the name for me
but now i'm eternally yours
Erin's request
What is your song idea?
Honeymoon- arrived at a lonely cabin on a mountain at midnight- creepy old pictures on the walls & bare light bulbs hanging from the ceilings. The # for Bear Control on the refrigerator. Upstairs attic with creaky floors, 10 beds, and a small sink (it looked like an insane asylum). Outdoor unlit Wizard of Oz-ish cellar to turn the water on. It sucked.
describe your song in one word
creepy
